Zelda Editor Dungeon
This is a 10-12 minute long Zelda-like dungeon created using the Dungeon Delver Editor. My main goal from the start of development was to create a linear dungeon in the style of the Fire Temple and Shadow Temple dungeons from "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time."
Before I built anything in the editor itself, I created a simple visual prototype of the overall layout I wanted to make on notebook paper. After finishing that prototype, I quickly got to work on creating the overall layout in the editor itself and then added specific room elements and puzzles after that.
The main challenge stems from what the player encounters in each room rather than exploration as I wanted to challenge myself to create an interesting linear level.
